Ranch Mechanical Maintenance and Cowboy

Maintenance and winterizing of 6 separate homes and shops on the Ranch at 8600 feet. Duties included but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical limited and any other maintenance issues that may arise at each home annually. Snow and road maintenance yearly with tractors, snow cats, plow trucks etc.

  • Enhanced livestock management through monitoring health, medical attention....pasture doctoring/roping horseback, vaccinations as needed, sorting, branding, herding, loading out for shipping etc. All cowboy duties needed to oversee 2000 yearlings on 16,000 acres of deeded land and 4,000 acres of forest units each summer. Also feeding, riding/breaking and any duties required to care for and use 27 head of ranch horses. Overseeing 2 ranch hands daily to effectively manage cattle needs.
  • Various farming duties including dragging of fields, irrigating, weed maintenance, haying productions, fencing and ditch work etc as needed.
