• Variable hours in an inpatient, acute care hospital.

• Responsibilities included: evaluation and treatment to a variety of patients in an acute rehabilitation unit, weekly team rounds, patient and staff scheduling, Clinical Instructor, liaison between therapy staff and Director, committee leader to improve communications between Nursing and Therapy staff.
• Assistant to Director of Rehabilitation Services (2/06-7/06)

Responsibilities included coordinating guest speakers, preparing lecture notes and handouts, assisting and teaching in a clinical assessment lab, supervising DPT students in clerkship settings, and teaching an Orientation to Physical Therapy course.

Research included animal studies in both neurosurgery and muscle labs.

• Primary Physical Therapist for Cardiac Care and ICU for 14 months.
• Responsibilities included: training fellow P.T. staff in cardiac unit protocols, Clinical Instructor, daily interaction with physicians, cardiac surgeons, nursing, and social workers for organization and communications regarding patient care, medical status, discharge planning and recommendations.
