Summary

My 23+ years as support staff liaison has afforded me opportunities to assume roles such as Client Care Associate, Customer Service Representative, Elementary School Teacher, Human Services Caseworker as well as Staff Development Special/Trainer. As trainer, I played a key role in disseminating vital information and assisting State of Illinois employees master skills needed to perform their daily jobs. As a Caseworker, I utilized my administrative skills to complete daily tasks and service the local community. Similarly, my previous teaching and social work experience heightened my attention to details and deadlines as well as afforded me the ability to work in various fast-paced environments comfortably and confidently. As a former Customer Sales & Service Representative/Manager Trainee I learned to master many of the valuable skills mentioned above. Lastly, my undergraduate concentration in psychology makes me an ideal candidate for this position as it enables me to communicate effectively with all levels of management, colleagues, and clientele; a true win/win situation. I'm a compassionate, creative and effective Facilitator with valuable experience in classroom administration, professional development and project planning.   • Responsible for providing clients with special needs as well as seniors with Long-Term Care (LTC) medical assistance (in terms of payment) associated with nursing home (NH), supportive living facilities (SLF) and shelter care services in addition to assisting AABP clients who reside in "assisted living facilities" with SNAP benefits.

Human Services Caseworker
