At Genworth, I represented myself as the Onshore Representative for various system enhancement and compliance projects.

• Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.
• Responsible for requirement gathering, analysis and create the High-level Design.

At Genworth, worked as Software Programmer for various Long Term Care new product implementations.

• Design new Long-Term Care products in the system based on business requirement in mainframe using COBOL, CICS, IMS and VSAM as primary technologies.
• Supplement the design with detailed workflow diagrams and pseudo-code to assist software and program development and similarly extending technical support on CLOAS to development team, quality assurance and other stakeholders at various stage of project development.
• Implement Value Innovations and encourage team to think out of the box and develop a tool that will increase productivity of the system.
• Document all project-related learnings and maintain a baselined version on the Knowledge portal.

Worked as a Programmer for Genworth on functional enhancements, production support projects in areas of policy administration, document generation and processing, premium billing and commission.

• Perform customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions using technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS and IMS for complex modules within CLOAS (Computation Life Office Administration System).
• Provide L1 and L2 support on production issues and resolve incidents within defined SLA.
• Provide weekly status report with respect to each release to client.
