I have been in the security industry since 2018 with 2 different companies. During my time I have gained several skills that make me a well rounded security specialist. I am highly skilled and defusing high emotional situations without any incidents. I also am very detailed and have a great eye for things that are not normal and are out of place at my location. I am CPR and AED certified with the American Heart Association. I am also mobile certified and a first responder at my site. I also specialize customer service and front desk type security work.
I currently drive a patrol vehicle around our 5 building campus at our Apple location in Elk Grove, CA. I am responsible for enforcing all traffic laws on the property for our 5 thousand employees. I also am responsible for reporting to dispatch any unusual activities on campus such as employees walking the property. I also have to walk around all the building and check every door to insure they are locked and secured. I keep a DAR to log all my actions during each hour. I am also CPR certified as well as a first responder for any medical situation on campus. When I am not in my mobile truck I am inside the building operating several metal detectors and directing and escorting employees around the facility. I am also a front desk security operator also. I answer phones and deal with lost and found items and any medical emergency in which 911 must be called.
I was responsible overseeing the Sacramento County Children Receiving Home staff and occupants. My job includes providing personal protection to the social workers who felt they were in danger due to threats from parents and children. We had over 100 youths who were either homeless or at risk. I was responsible for making sure no youths were bringing in any illegal drugs or weapons on the campus. Sometimes I would have to you use limited force to remove youths from certain areas they were not allowed in. I also was in charge of watching surveillance and giving detailed reports to Police Officers when they arrived on campus.
I was in charge of operating a large filler machine that pumped product into small Vaseline jars. I was responsible for placing over 50 thousand jars on a large conveyor belt to be filled. Once the product was filled I was then tasked with putting the finished product into boxes and on pallets to be shipped all over the country.
