I'm creating this resume specifically for the overnight stocking position at Whole Foods at 2201 S. College Ave. I won't bore you with the typical auto-form resume because I don't feel that would give you an accurate picture of who I am and what I have to offer. What I believe is important that you know is that I've worked from 11pm-7am five days a week just down the street from you for the last 12 years. In that time I've probably covered over 100 shifts for my coworkers and have called in sick less than 10 times. This started as a temporary gig while I attended classes at CSU but I eventually lost focus despite maintaining a high GPA and logging around 70 credit hours. My priorities are now family oriented and my responsibilities require that I maintain an overnight position. I don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I'm a pretty average individual all things considered. I do have experience in a grocery market setting for about 2 years but that was quite some time ago while I still attended high school. Nonetheless I believe I possess all the requisite skills required for this position. I hope you will consider me as a serious candidate despite my somewhat unconventional resume.
This is my current position at the Best Western University Inn located at 914 S. College Ave. My responsibilities are vast and include auditing of both this property as well as the Best Western Crossroads in Loveland (same owner), ordering and maintaining inventory of a broad cross-section of products, scheduling and training of fellow employees, customer service including but not limited to reservations and check-ins/outs, breakfast assembly, a variety of maintenance duties, policing of the property, special requests and a high degree of professionalism.
