• FIRST IMPRESSIONS – Organized and led this ministry at River Church Family. Assembled, Led and trained a team of 30-50 volunteers. The heart of First Impressions was to serve and give our best to every opportunity God gave us to ensure a great first impression of Jesus’ and His bride the Church. This ministries goal was to tear down any wall that hinders and to eliminate any ammunition that the enemy could use to stop someone from meeting with Jesus on any given Sunday. Our battle is not with flesh and blood.
• FIGHTCLUB – A Ministry for men, which started with myself and 3 other 20 to 30 year old men. The focus was to show these men how to get into the word of God, so that they could learn to hear from God, find God’s direction and plan for their lives, be led by the spirit of God, and then reach and teach others and their families to do the same. God moved and it grew to 20 to 30 men meeting in a Starbucks once a week. We had to bring the chairs from the outside seating to the inside to accommodate what God was doing in these men . Starbucks was so gracious and allowed us to do this for many weeks and months. Fight = F-Faith, I-Integrity / Intentional, G-Grit, H-Humility, T-Time.
• LIF GROUPS / HOME CHURCH – Host and facilitate a Life Group in our home and in the homes of others. The Life Groups function was to create a safe place for all to worship God together, share, grow in Christ, to learn, practice and grow in their gifts, and do life together. This was centered around every persons longing to know and to be known, so we created a place where people have the opportunity to know and be known by each other and most importantly to know and discover they are known by God.
