This was a full-time position at an office, as a medical records coordinator for a home care agency in the Bronx, New York. I deal with highly important paperwork all day long. Being organized, good time management skills,
and being a team player are some attributes that are definitely important for success at this job. Some of my responsibilities include taking all the documents and to stamp them, scan them, fax them, make copies of them, and file them, just to name some. I also have to make sure documents can be retrieved, and retrieved in a timely manner when they're requested by whomever, even if the document is several years old for example. This company has a whole lot of clients (many different clients throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Westchester County, and New Jersey. Just to name some of the areas), so because of that, the documents (such as timesheets, flow sheets, missed visit forms, etc) keep
coming in heavily every week, which means that it's urgent for me to always maintain a good work ethic and always stay on point so I could always be ahead of the game.
