This job entails ensuring visitors have an enjoyable experience by providing interesting facts and stories related to tour sites. We utilize storytelling techniques to enhance visitor engagement and learning. I am required to follow safety protocols at all times while guiding guests through the tour areas. I work closely with colleagues in order to provide a high level of service throughout the duration of the four-hour tour.

We also provide detailed, in-depth information to tourists about local attractions and points of interest while maintaining a positive attitude and enthusiasm when interacting with guests. Not only do we provide information about the tour itself, but about the island of Kauai as a whole, focusing on giving the visitors the most authentically local and memorable stay possible.

This job included putting away books, CDs, Magazines, etc. as well as assisting people when they had questions. I would also help my employer with any other tasks she had for me, these tasks ranged from organizing art supplies to cleaning toys for the children that came to the library every Thursday.
