Boy Scouts of America, 2011-09, 2017-06, I began scouting in 1st grade at 6 years old and went through the ranks until I accomplished the rank of Eagle Scout in October of 2017. Then I aged out of scouting at age 18. Learned my survival skills and life lessons. My Eagle Scout project was conducted at Our Lady Visitation in Paramus, NJ. My project focused on enhancing the landscape on the entrance of the property.,
M.E.R.K.- Mobile Emergency Response Kitchen. It was created by an Assistant Scoutmaster in my troop. When tragedy hits, the mobile kitchen and storage facility will travel when needed. For example, my troop set up a food drive for Hurricane Florence. Once all items were collected/donated, the items were driven to the people in the affected areas in Florida. The M.E.R.K. also responds to mass tragedy innocents like large fires, crews from the M.E.R.K. aid fire and police personnel with food and beverages to keep them energized.
