Throughout my life, I have been dedicated to sports, especially softball, which I played for as long as I can remember. Being part of my high school’s varsity team and making it to the state championships four years in a row was an incredible achievement. Unfortunately, due to an injury, I can no longer play, but my love for athletics remains strong. Beyond softball, I’ve also participated in cheer, basketball, swim, and soccer, gaining valuable teamwork and discipline skills along the way.
Academically, I push myself to exceed expectations and take pride in my ability to excel in my studies. This fall, I will be attending Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida, where I will be pursuing a degree in digital media production and journalism. I’m excited to take this next step and explore my passion for storytelling and media.
I have experience working as a cashier in a retail thrift store, where I handled money transactions and provided excellent customer service. My responsibilities included operating the cash register, processing payments accurately, and assisting customers with their purchases. I also helped organize and stock clothing items, kept the store clean and presentable, and made sure customers had a positive shopping experience. Working in retail has strengthened my communication and multitasking skills, and I enjoy helping people find what they need while ensuring smooth transactions at checkout.
I have experience working as a florist, where I handled cashier duties, provided excellent customer service, and maintained a clean and organized shop. My responsibilities included processing transactions, assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements, and answering any questions they had about care and maintenance. I also helped with stocking fresh flowers, arranging displays, and keeping the workspace tidy. This role allowed me to develop strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming experience for customers.
