As a veterinary assistant I collaborated with other staff to provide fear free care for cats and dogs to support wellness, urgent, end of life and surgical care.

Under the direction of a veterinarian I administered vaccines and medication, completed approved treatments and educated clients. As a surgery assistant I helped to prepare, monitor and recover surgery patients in general surgery and dental surgery procedures.

After 6 months of in clinic work I transferred to a work from home position. I was charged with communicating with staff as needed and completing follow up lists, work lists and managing prescription requests to ensure timely completion.

As a veterinary technician I collaborated with other staff to provide fear free wellness, end of life and surgical care for cats and dogs.

As a licensed Veterinary technician I collaborated with other staff in an AAHA accredited hospital to provide wellness, urgent and end of life care for cats, dogs, rabbits and rats. I utilized my skills to support surgical operations across multiple veterinary disciplines including general surgery, dental surgery and orthopedic surgery.
