Perform routine maintenance and non-routine maintenance and airworthiness releases on 747-400, 747-8, 777F, returning the aircraft to service.

Perform RII duties on 747-400, 747-8 and 777F aircraft.

Is responsible for servicing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines. Complete work effectively to meet deadlines.

Troubleshooting systems; remove and replace malfunctioning parts, remove and repair components of the aircraft per the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and other Approved Technical Data provided by the company.

Ensures safety of ground handling services and equipment around the aircraft and communicates with ground handling services on certain topics.

Confirms aircraft are in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, aircraft maintenance manuals and all work completed on the aircraft was documented correctly.

Use computer applications to write schedules, type up documents and print out aircraft references.

Communicating with the air carrier’s maintenance control center.

Communicating with ground crew to ensure safety of personnel and aircraft.

Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with airline maintenance manuals, work cards, and the companies general maintenance manual.

Read wiring diagrams to trace wires. Keeping up to date on non-routine task cards.

Perform walk around after aircraft arrives, clearing write ups in logbooks, preventative maintenance; adding oil to engines, adding hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic system, servicing o2 in tires, changing navigation, tail and cockpit lights.

Assist AOG maintenance team with heavy maintenance; engine changes, landing gear changes.

Troubleshooting systems, running ground tests.

Assure all aircraft are in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation, ensure all work on the aircraft has been documented correctly.

Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with LAC maintenance manuals, work cards, and the companies general maintenance manual.

Read wiring diagrams to trace wires. Keeping up to date on non-routine task cards.

Troubleshooting aircraft systems, remove and replace malfunctioning parts, removing and repairing components per the Aircraft maintenance manuals provided by the aircraft carrier.

Lifting aircraft components that weigh 50+ pounds during the work day.
Perform A-checks at the end of each day, in depth A-1 checks, preventative maintenance; adding oil to engines or APU, propeller fluid to the propellers, servicing tires, changing light bulbs, visual walk around inspection.

Traveling internationally for contract work in other countries.
Perform heavy maintenance; engine changes, propeller changes, hydraulic pump changes, fuel pump changes, sheet metal skin repairs.

Ensure all work completed on the aircraft are within Federal Aviation Regulations, and all work was documented correctly.
