My name is Kong Meng Lee. I served in the U.S. Army for seven years and deployed to Kosovo in 2019 with Alpha Company, 1-279th Infantry Battalion. My military experience helped shape my work ethic, discipline, and passion for hands-on problem solving.
After completing my service, I discovered a love for the outdoors, travel, and great food. On my days off, I enjoy fishing on the lake — it gives me time to reflect and appreciate the beauty of the world around me.
Currently, I work at Ducommun, a manufacturing company that produces high-quality circuit boards for the Department of Defense. My role involves precision soldering and working with a variety of electronic components. I take pride in doing work that supports national defense — even if I’m not on the front lines, I still feel like I’m making a meaningful impact.
My long-term goal is to earn my Associate Degree within the next three years, then transfer to Oklahoma State University to complete a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering by 2028. In the next two years, I plan to pursue internship opportunities to gain hands-on experience in my chosen field and continue developing as a technician and future engineer.
