I play a crucial role in creating and refining laboratory assays, such as ADCC (Antibody Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity) and ADCP (Antibody Dependent Cellular Phagocytosis), and in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and share best practices with colleagues.
  • In addition, I manage and accurately record donor data and procedure outcomes, which supports the success of research and clinical trials. Handling blood products and leukapheresis packs with strict adherence to protocols ensures the integrity and viability of samples. I also train new staff on leukapheresis procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • My work involves isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from blood samples for various immunological assays. I conduct experiments to test monoclonal antibodies' binding to Fc receptors and the expression of CTLA-4 on macrophages using advanced technologies such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescent staining. I utilize FlowJo software to analyze immunofluorescently stained cells, allowing me to interpret complex flow cytometry data and extract meaningful insights from experimental results.
