Serving as the Interim Healthcare Compliance Director for the last 5 years I have developed a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements required to operate a successful compliance department. I have a history of developing and implementing effective programs for the Lummi Nation with compliance being the focus in all of those programs. From my current role some of the key skills include risk management, documentation review for providers, quality assurance management, compliance monitoring, investigation and interview skills to name a few.

As the Compliance Officer for the Lummi Nation I come with documented success in developing policies, leading training programs and managing reporting to achieve compliance in all healthcare areas of the Nation. Methodical with exceptional presentation and communication skills. Strong background working with federal and state and tribal regulations.

I have 20 years of exceptional experience in the role as a Director. I have exceptional skill in interpreting and summarizing healthcare laws regulations that drive organization-wide compliance.

As the Lummi Nation's Compliance Officer I have focused on minimizing liability by keeping all records, processes and training in full compliance with established standards and legal requirements. I have developed a quality-driven and hardworking mindset with proven skills in spotting issues, developing resolutions and implementing corrective actions.
