From a babysitter in high school to a mother of 5 now, I've always loved working with kids. My most valuable lesson as a mom was during the years that my husband and I were Foster parents. When children were placed in our home, even just temporarily, we learned quickly that they each craved the same things: hope, love, and trust. It comes easily for me to provide these not only to my own foster, biological, and adopted children, but to all other children that come into my life as well. I'm grateful for this potential opportunity to help in our school district, and I believe I can be a bright spot in the students' days.
