I drove an out of town van route from Rockland to Lewiston every morning and in the afternoon I returned to Lewiston to pick up the student and drive her back home to Rockland. She was severely autistic, non verbal and needed to be in a special harness.

• I drove an in town van route all last school year transporting students to and from school
• Ensured safe and timely transport of students to and from school activities.
• Maintained vehicle cleanliness and functionality through regular inspections and maintenance.
• Communicated effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation schedules.
• Adhered to all traffic laws and safety regulations during daily driving operations.

• Assist in bus loading and unloading
• Discuss assigned duties with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional efforts
• Distribute teaching materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, papers, and pencils to students
• Enforce administration policies and rules governing students
• Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials to prevent injuries and damage
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, and gymnasiums, or on field trips

• Examine trays to ensure that they contain required items
• Record amounts and types of special food items served to customers
• Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that guidelines, such as those for special diets, are followed
• Clean or sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or facilities
• Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions
• Stock service stations with items, such as ice, napkins, or straws
• Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, or beverages
• Carry food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays

• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff
• Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, or medical records
• Maintain medical records, technical library, or correspondence files
• Compile and record medical charts, reports, or correspondence, using typewriter or personal computer
• Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff
