I’ve always been passionate about helping others and making a difference in the workplace. I strive to better myself every day and learn new skills that can help me achieve these goals. I am very people-oriented and experienced in managing daily direction and team communication.
Target Breakout is part of the specialty sales department. Executed the preparation of the backroom for the breakout of style-related items, arranging them for presentation in the store. Once everything was put in its designated place, I would push products out into the store. Assisted in fitting room, registers, and fulfillment (online orders), adapting to various needs across the store. I am also a trainer for the specialty sales department. I assisted in onboarding new employees, ensuring smooth integration into the team. Outlined responsibilities for new employees based on their assigned area and offered support to boost their confidence. I would also show them the best practices to help ensure we were meeting Target goals and expectations. Collaborated with executive team leaders to pinpoint training gaps and identify improvement opportunities.
As a temporary team lead, I helped fill a gap in our leadership team. I was responsible for creating a task sheet every morning that included all specialty sales team members, their break times, and tasks they needed to complete during their shift. I would then do a brand walk to ensure the store was presentable for opening time. Checked in with team members throughout the day, ensuring timely task completion and providing assistance as needed. If there were any conflicts or concerns I would communicate with the team members involved, identify the problem and try to find solutions. I would have coaching conversations with team members to help them increase their productivity. I would also make sure team members were abiding by compliance rules. If we had any callouts, I would make sure we had coverage in those areas. Reviewed job application videos, identifying potential candidates for open positions. I would call and make job offers and inform them of what positions we had open and take down their availability.
Created a clean, welcoming environment fostering children's comfort and engagement. Updated parents regularly on children's progress and classroom activities to strengthen home-school connections. Implemented curriculum plans to enhance children's learning experiences and engagement. Interacted positively with children to encourage development and involvement in activities, treating each child with dignity and respect. Partnered with staff to support tailored strategies for individual student success.
Arrived on time to count medications with previous shift, ensuring no medication errors. I would pass medication to the residents in a timely manner. I would check blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, and other vitals when necessary. If short staffed, I would step up and help with getting residents up and dressed for the day. Encouraged resident participation in daily activities to promote engagement and well-being. Communicated with co-workers and managers on the needs and medications for residents.
