As a charge nurse I have effectively gained the ability to clearly convey expectations, provide feedback, and facilitate understanding among team members. I am able to actively listen to team members which is essential for fostering trust and empathy. In doing so I am able to better understand their perspectives and concerns, which, in turn, can help me as a leader make more informed decisions and address issues effectively. I am very efficient at building strong relationships with team members, colleagues, and other stakeholders such as providers and administrators in the past that can enhance collaboration and create a positive work environment. Keen ability to manage emotions, both of my own and those of my team members, which has been critical for resolving conflicts, providing support, and making decisions that consider the well-being of the team. I have strong organizational skills to set priorities, allocate resources, and keep projects on track. Thus, ensuring that goals are met efficiently. I also have the ability to make well-informed and timely decisions which has been proven to be a vital need in this emergency room. Finally, trustworthiness promotes healthy relationships that build integrity among team members.. Seeking new opportunities to expand and utilize nursing skills in a fast paced environment.
