Seeing firsthand the struggles and effects that addiction has on an individual and family, led me to a place where becoming an advocate for addiction recovery was essential to the life & well being of a close family member. I was able to create pathways to recovery, showing support and ensuring that he knew he was loved, not alone, and that there was hope. Through research I was able to find resources for treatment options, support groups, and effective ways to encourage and empower him for long term recovery.
