Volunteering

I currently volunteer with the AZ Small Dog rescue. I am certified to volunteer at the shelter, but I mostly volunteer by fostering puppies. I foster puppies so they do not have to live in the shelter and they can get socialized with other people and dogs. I usually have a foster do from 4-6 weeks while they get up to date on their vaccines and spayed/neutered before they go up for adoption. I assist in finding them their forever home by interviewing and meeting potential adopters. This is very rewarding since I get to help these puppies find a loving home.
