Assessed allegations of child abuse to determine if children were at risk. Engaged with people of various backgrounds to collect information needed to make accurate assessments of child safety. Answered calls to the child abuse hotline, collected information about the allegations, researched the family the allegations were made against, and made recommendation to open an assessment or not. Facilitated car seat safety training and recertification for initial assessment specialists.

• Managed daily operations of a store, maintained top 30 percent performance in sales comps, used comps, and customer experience.
• Responsible for all new hire paperwork and initial training for new hires in district.
• Monitored performance of three stores besides my own and addressed any identified issues with District Manager's support.
• Performed an operational audit on a store selected by the District Manger once per month.

• Managed a team of 15 to 30 employees nightly to unload merchandise shipments and stock the sales floor.
• Assisted in recruiting, hiring and training to develop high performing staff.
• Supported resolution of escalating employee issues or concerns.
• Assisted with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving direct feedback.
