- Pharmaceutical compounding- I gained my knowledge of non-sterile and sterile compounding through on-the-job training through St Clare hospital and have found it to be a passion of mine; not only do I enjoy getting the opportunity to complete these tasks but I love being able to explain and give the "why" behind the aseptic practices that we utilize
- Inventory management- Since becoming a backup purchaser I have gained more insight into maintaining medication and compounding supply quantities as well as the costs behind them Thus giving me a greater depth of understanding about why we keep certain PARs of items and what to do upon drug backorders
