I'm always eager to learn new skills and meet new people it's just what keeps me going. I know I am at my best when I have a set goal in mind that serves a purpose.
Carrabba's was my first real restaurant job, it was here I learned the true meaning of customer service. Tables would come in to enjoy 3-5 course meals which allowed me plenty of time to create personal connections with my guest and work on my upselling. It was always my goal during a shift to make as many guest days as possible, by the time I was moving I had an established list of regulars who still check in with me to this day. This job taught me if I believe in what I'm selling then the sale is going to follow.
While I was working at Colton's I would always make it a goal of mine to get the guest to come back soon. This was a fast paced service job that put the pep in my step. Naturally I would go above and beyond for my guest always trying to make it memorable for them so they would return as my regulars.
I took everything I learned from my previous serving and bartending jobs to this restaurant always putting my best foot forward and that is what opened up the door into sales for me.
