After graduating from Eastland High School in 2018, I attended Northwest Lineman School. I was hired on with United Cooperative Services on January 2, 2019, and still currently work there. My first 8 months, I worked out of the Possum Kingdom office then transferred over to the Stephenville office to be closer to my family. There, I worked my way up to a lineman, pushing crews, working hot three phase/single phase, changed out regulators and capacitors. I've gone to help on power restorations in Louisiana (hurricane), Navasota Valley (ice storm), Grayson-Collins (Thunderstorm), Upshur Rural (Thunderstorm) and Comanche Electric (fire). I have terminated underground primary, repaired damaged primary dip poles and have changed out pad mount transformers. I've operated pressure/dangle digger trucks, setting anchors, and poles. I’ve climbed poles to fix broken material, fallen powerlines, hook up new primary underground cable, tie in line and changed out transformers off the wood. I completed all of United Cooperative Services in house trainings and attended all safety meetings.
