I grew up in rural Cross Plains Wisconsin and have forever been fascinated by functioning things with numerous parts and how/why they work. Around 12 years old I started to melt aluminum and brass, making paper weights for all who would accept them. Then, a few years later, I graduated to blade smithing and working with an anvil. Just as I never missed an opportunity to build or tear something apart back then, today, I am the same way with Solid Works, 3D printing and all the tools I have been fortunate enough to learn over the years. I hope to soon have a complete set of skills to allow me to truly design, prototype, and build whatever the problems I encounter require.
