Hardworking employee with customer service, multitasking, and time management abilities. Devoted to giving every customer a positive and memorable experience.
Before my current job at Oakley, I started as a farmhand at Spring Creek Growers in Tomball, TX. My duties included helping unload trees from the wagons, preparing them for customers, and giving them a wonderful experience during the Christmas season. Over the years, I had the opportunity to be a tractor driver, which gave me a leadership role, helping drive customers out to the fields to find their perfect Christmas tree and load it onto the wagon for processing.
During my first two years of college, I accepted a job at Academy Sports and Outdoors. My first job there was our buy online and pick up in store. My duties included picking orders for customers and shipping items purchased from the store. After my First year there, I had the opportunity to move into hunting and fishing and to sell firearms behind the gun counter. For this position, I had to get my firearms sales certification and understand the laws behind firearms sales.
At Oakley, I have gained many sales-building experiences. I had opportunities to work for the Rolling Ostore, at the Circuit of the Americas for F1 races, and to return to MotoGP to sell glasses and maintain the company's tent during both race weekends. My duties as a Specialized Consultant have taught me managerial responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, resolving issues that arise on the floor, and helping new associates become accustomed to selling to customers.
Activities and societies: I was in Beta Upsilon Chi, I served as the Fraternities Chaplin, in which I lead the fraternities spiritual aspect by leading Bible studies, setting up worship nights with other greek life, ensuring that the fraternity meets with their own individual study groups, and help council those in need, while also earning Brother of the year. This reward is attributed to those that go above and beyond helping with social activities, and fraternal needs. With also completing my studies I took part of several Bowling/ Slow pitch leagues. Both of these I had helped the team by taking the role of team captain ensuring payments are on time, and that participants are obeying league rules.
