At the age of 10, I started my journey in the art of Martial Arts (Taekwondo). I spent 3 years of blood, sweat and tears (literally) to receive my black belt. This showed my resilience, my drive, and my passion.
Shortly after, at aged 13, I had to undergo major back surgery to correct serious congenital scoliosis (which I struggled with during my Taekwondo training). A metal rod with screw had to be placed down my whole spine and my some vertebrae’s in my back had to be broken and refused to proper shape. It was a year of recovery, but I refused to let it hold me back. This once again displayed how I will not let any barriers deter me from being my best self.
