With time spent as a Certified Medical Assistant I have developed a strong focus on patient care and clinical support. Skills in administering medications, recording vital signs, and managing patient records. I have strong reliability, adaptability, effective teamwork, and proven ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
As part of my education for my CMA certificate I completed 220 hours of work experience. I completed my internship at Lancaster General Health Ephrata Urgent Care. I was there for seven weeks and learned how a fast paced facility operates. I learned not only the general duties of a CMA but how to effectively work as a team and communicate with others to ensure things run smoothly.
