Reliability is a key characteristic of this role, with the expectation to be punctual for shifts and dressed professionally at all times. The NCG Cinema team member is cross-trained between two essential functions: Dual and Usher.

As a Dual, the individual is responsible for operating guest concessions, efficiently handling the selling and restocking of inventory, and promoting NCG products such as tickets and concessions. This team member serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting them upon arrival and being knowledgeable about current movies, becoming the go-to person for resolving any issues or problems guests may encounter.

The Usher aspect of the role involves maintaining the NCG standard of cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including the lobby, auditoriums, restrooms, and hallways. This ensures that the movie-going experience is uninterrupted, friendly, smooth, safe, and clean for every customer. From ticket-taking to resolving any potential problems, the NCG Cinema team member excels in providing excellent customer service, striving to ensure a seamless presentation of the movies.

The job requires physical capabilities as well, as the team member should be able to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain balance while carrying heavy and odd-shaped objects. Interacting with the general public is a regular part of the job, involving friendly greetings, taking tickets, guiding guests to their respective auditoriums and seats, providing warm exit greetings, and addressing any issues that may arise.

Working in a collaborative team environment is crucial, as the NCG Cinema team member is expected to assist fellow workers in various tasks, including concessions (refills), odd jobs, and cleaning duties. By embodying these qualities and performing these responsibilities, this team member contributes significantly to creating a delightful and enjoyable movie-going experience for NCG Cinema's valued guests.
