Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver
To become a Certified Scuba Diver I sat through a two month long course along with dive intermissions to get hands on experience with all of the gear on. After the course, the instructor tested our knowledge by making us do the so called "Blind Dive", in one of the dirtiest ponds in Eastern Iowa. I was able to showcase my scuba diving skills in the Bahama's a year later and progressing to an Advanced Open Water Diver.
