Laney Jones

Laney Jones, Class of 2025 graduating from Kokomo High School. I am currently a senior participating in Kokomo Ceo, being taught by Kelly Hopkins, while I've taken business classes through KACC, the opportunities Kokomo Ceo has brought me is undeniably incredible . I have lived In Kokomo most of my life, while playing soccer through kokomo programs. During my Sophomore year I completed my eight year Ib program, and decided to continue my high school career in AP Literature and Advanced Communications to continue working on improving my skill set. While pursuing an academic career, I have been working at my local Olive Garden as a hostess and hope to become a server in these next few months. I have many aspirations for my future and hope to attended a school that can help challenge me academically and teach me In my early adult life.

• I have been actively committed to my schools Adaptive PE class. This class has truly bettered me as an individual and given me some true friendships along the way. I signed up for the class to help out the school and step out of the classroom for a period, but what I was not expecting was the help I was about to gain and how much they were going to teach me. Each and every kid carries such a light and kind aura, they always have the purest of intentions, and the joy they get when I walk into class makes me feel like it's not impossible to make a change in others lives, for the better. After only a few short weeks in the class, I am already talking with counselors to be put into the technical skills class aswell.
