Brownsboro is a 4A school district with six campuses. There are currently 544 students we serve in the Special Education Department.

• Oversaw all initial evaluations and managed evaluation teams as District Evaluator for 2025-2026 School Year.
• Provided recommendations to ARD committee based on evaluation results.
• Continued oversight of Transition services and completed re-evaluations, REEDS, referrals, and Manifestation Determination Reviews as high school diagnostician.
• Trained new staff in cohesive evaluations and IEPs while serving as Interim Lead Diagnostician for 2024-2025 School Year.
• Maintained accurate assessment records and intervention plans, achieving 100% compliance rating in Transition during 2025 TEA Audit.
• Managed a student caseload of 88-95 as High School Diagnostician and Transition Specialist in 2023-2024 School Year.
• Served as High School Diagnostician and Transition Specialist with an 80-85 student caseload in 2022-2023 School Year.
• Functioned as campus diagnostician across two intermediate campuses for the district during 2021-2022 School Year.

Western Red River Shared Services Arrangement is a Co-op for two school districts, Detroit ISD and Rivercrest ISD.

• Coordinated transition services for Detroit ISD and Rivercrest ISD, collaborating with Texas Workforce Commission on post-secondary planning.
• Facilitated Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings by preparing agendas, contacting required members, and managing documentation.
• Conducted educational diagnostics and testing, developing skills under mentorship guidance.
• Ensured compliance with ARD goals and accommodations through thorough documentation and communication with parents.

Blossom Elementary is a Pre-K through Fifth-grade campus in a 2A school district.

• Organized a major fundraiser with co-workers and parents.
• Hosted and coordinated a local science fair each year since 2012 with participation of all students.
• Outstanding success each year in the Region 8 Science Fair with my students, usually placing and receiving high ranking places
• Facilitated and organized fundraisers for three-day, two-night field trips each year.
• Assessed students' strengths and weaknesses regularly to provide appropriate methods for addressing learning needs.
• Devised and implemented course instructional plans to teach students about science and social studies while meeting or exceeding district standards.

Detroit Elementary is a Pre-K – Fifth grade campus which is part of a 2A School District.

• As a 5th-grade teacher, I continuously improved the Science STAAR scores since the first administration in 2012
• Organized a major fundraiser with co-workers and parents.
• Hosted and coordinated a local science fair each year since 2012 with participation of all students.
• Outstanding success each year in the Region 8 Science Fair with my students, usually placing and receiving high ranking places
• Facilitated overnight field trips each year.
• Assessed students' strengths and weaknesses regularly to provide appropriate methods for addressing learning needs.
• Devised and implemented course instructional plans to teach students about science and social studies while meeting or exceeding district standards.

I served as a high school special education paraprofessional and an assistant coach while finishing up my teaching certification.

• Volunteered to create and implement life skills with two special education senior students that included money management and job
  interviewing skills.
• Became CDL certified to independently transport my teams to each competition.
• Motivated athletes to become stronger, more agile and more effective players through effective direction, communication and mentoring.
