Taught third grade for two years and primarily focused on fourth grade, enhancing student learning and engagement. Completed extensive training in balanced literacy through a three-year commitment with Missouri Reading Initiative, focusing on curriculum design and instructional strategies. Participated in math cohort through RPDC, collaborating with peers to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. LETRS Volume One, and Small Group Reading training. Developed and implemented engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards.

Taught third through fifth grades, including Title 1 services for one year. Served as Missouri Assessment Program Trainer for three years, where I taught other teachers at my school after training at the RPDC. Scored state communication arts and math assessments. Provided supervision and instruction to over twenty University teacher candidates.

Instructed students in second and fifth grades in core subjects at local district schools.

Multiple experiences while attending college; worked with students at the Career Planning and Placement Center; explored career paths, resume completion, and interviewing. Chosen as Summer Welcome Leader, led incoming freshmen and families with campus tours, hospitality, and question/answer sessions about the University.
