Proficient with centrifugation, aliquoting procedures, and medical terminology. Also, compassionate with patients to provide good services.
Greet patients upon arrival. Check in patients, and receive doctor’s orders. Contact Dr. Offices to retain patient orders if not EMR.

Verify Insurances if eligible.
Input paper work through laboratory system.
Draw patients accordingly to requisitions.
Butterfly, straight needles
Perform venipuncture, capillaries, heel sticks.
Work with Pediatric, Geriatric, Adolescent, Adult, and newborn patients.
Instruct patients on phlebotomy process, and explain patient care after blood draw.
Accurate specimen labeling.
Centrifuge specimen.
Processing, & go over paperwork from each patient.
Close batch to have ready to send out specimen for courier.
Restock, clean for next day.
Scan accession log, and daily batch reports.
Close money bag for the day, or credit card receipts of payments done.
