As a training educator I am responsible for training new hires that come onto the contact center to learn their job across all markets that Ascension offers including 9 states.
In 2024, I trained/assisted with training about 300-400 new associates. Outside of new associates I trained/assisted with training current associates on refresher courses for multiple Ascension programs.
Trained on EHR systems, scheduling systems, soft skills, quality metrics, and other essential functions they may need to be able to perform well at their job.
The training classes range from2-3 weeks at a time and in depth review of multiple healthcare/medical programs and databases.
Assessed new hire performance and provided feedback to facilitate new hire success.
