Hi, I am Lauren Vezurk. I am a college student at Tarleton State University going into my sophomore year. I am a very driven, responsible, and motivated person. I have spent many years managing multiple things at one time, including schoolwork, clubs, and a job all at once. I have maintained one job for the past four years, which has taught me many things. It has taught me time management, multitasking, customer service, strong work ethic, and how to be organized. Over the past four years, I have been employed at the Navasota Auction Barn, where I developed strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills while balancing academic responsibilities, athletics, and work. My primary role as a Ticket Writer involved accurately recording buyer and livestock information in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and efficiency.
In addition to my primary responsibilities, I demonstrated versatility by supporting multiple operations within the sale ring. These duties included operating the air gate for livestock entry, delivering buyer tickets to the office, assisting with livestock weighing, and managing the goat sale process. Through these experiences, I gained valuable hands-on knowledge of auction procedures, teamwork, and time management while maintaining professionalism under pressure
