  • As an Adjudications Officer within the Service Center IBIS triage unit reviewed, analyzed and evaluated A and T files and form types within each file and wrote IBIS resolution memos. Identified/classified absconders, violators of various sections of the INA and national Security.
  • This required an extensive knowledge of law enforcement and adjudication computer systems, knowledge of the INA and the adjudication process of various Applications/Petitions processed at the service center. When fraud, deportability, national security or terrorist level issues were suspected referred files to the Fraud Detection Unit or to Immigration Custom Enforcement for further investigations and possible removal. Also worked initially within Temporary Protected Status product line, requested evidence when the initially submitted material was insufficient to establish the benefit and made final decisions on Forms I -765 and I-821.
