Leads approximately 20 patients to exam rooms, including obtaining vital signs, obtaining reason for visit, and documents symptoms, their frequency, and severity.
Provides injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
Performs EKG's.
Use of electronic medical records and works off “task lists” to complete patient visits or requests/refills.
Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance to HIPAA guidelines.
Schedules appointments, performs clinical tasks and completes appropriate forms as required by department.
Assists with clinic upkeep, including daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory.
Contacts pharmacies to submit and refill patients' prescriptions.
