As an Environmental Services Technician I work within various healthcare facilities with the responsibility of cleaning and maintaining a sterile and environmentally clean space. My core duties and tasks include sanitizing and maintaining a hygienically clean hospital room; maintaining a clean and sanitized bathroom area; cleaning doors, wall hangings; and related furnishings; collecting and removing trash and recyclables; maintaining cleaning equipment and disinfectant chemicals in an orderly and safe manner; acquiring and stocking cleaning supplies, knowledge of sanitation procedures and related tasks.

• Worked with team members from multiple departments to maintain strict cleanliness standards.
• Mixed, used and properly stored hazardous chemical cleaners to reduce risk of injury or illness.
• Monitored spaces for environmental safety hazards.
