Worked on implementing a training program for potential female firefighters in the the city of San Francisco.

The program included physical training in strength and agility as well as health and wellness support for transitioning to a career that was non traditional for women at the time.

Many of the recruits went on to become decorated Fire Fighters and high ranking officials of local Fire Departments.

I frequently take 2-5 mile hikes that are on very isolated trails because I enjoy get a glimpse of nature and natural wildlife.

Ruining , whether short or longer distances helps in clearing the mind,

I enjoy reading for academic purposes as well as for entertainment. Auto biographies ,science fiction , and mysteries such as Sherlock Holmes are my favorites.

I welcome research writing as it enhances skills for thinking critically, and I journal often.
