Work History

ANHEUSER-BUSCH

Packaging Operator
02.2023 - Current
  • While working at Anheuser Busch, I have developed ways of being more autonomous with the decisions that affect my coworkers and myself
  • I've developed ways to prevent drastic amounts of downtime for the equipment that I work on daily to keep a high level of efficiency and production for my line while still working safe.
  • Identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems.
  • Proved successful working within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.
  • I've also been trained on a single-fork truck and a double-fork truck, learning how to move pallets and take them away, along with dumping hoppers and moving material to the line when needed for a changeover for a new order
  • When I work, I am required to do quality checks every 30 minutes and 15 minutes every day to make sure we are producing quality over quantity
  • We always have start-of-shift meetings and End-of-shift meetings with our Area Managers to pass on any information regarding what may have happened during the shift to notify the oncoming shift as well as to talk about our LEF (line efficiency).
  • Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.
  • Demonstrated a high level of initiative and creativity while tackling difficult tasks.

SUPERBA OPERATOR

Mohawk Industries
01.2022 - 01.2023
  • As a Heat Set Operator, I oversaw machines called the Winder and the Creeler
  • I was tasked with putting out a minimum of 12 doffs per shift to meet my production requirements for the night while still working safely at all times.
  • Kept track and wrote down each doff and each time I doffed the machine as i packaged the yarn ready to send off to the next process.
  • I also noted down if there were any problems during the doffs such as breakouts, blue tails, and creel lights.
  • Always arrived on time and was there earlier to get a pass on from the previous shift operator to see what it would consist of through the night and what to look out for.
  • Maintained knowledge of industry policies and procedures to set up and operate equipment safely.
  • Made sure that products were produced on time and are of good quality.
  • Collaborated with other departments such as Twisting to optimize production workflows.

MANAGER

Sonic Drive
01.2019 - 01.2023
  • I started out as a cook at Sonic
  • My responsibilities included monitoring food safety, getting orders ready in a timely manner, and keeping my area clean
  • As I progressed, I learned how to take on the car hop position, which required me to take the orders on what we call a switchboard, make the orders, neatly bag them, and then take them out to the customer within three minutes
  • After mastering these tasks, I was promoted to crew leader and eventually manager
  • As a manager, I make sure the crew is getting their tasks done as soon as possible and making sure the customers are satisfied with their food and service
  • Took inventory counts and did truck orders to make sure the restaurant had the food and materials it needed to run efficiently through account development.
  • Cross-trained existing employees to maximize team agility and performance as well as to reduce the labor for the store.
  • Resolved staff member conflicts, actively listening to concerns and finding appropriate middle ground.
  • Maintained professional demeanor by staying calm when addressing unhappy or angry customers.
  • Opened and closed location and monitored shift changes to uphold successful operations strategies and maximize business success.
