This training led me and my team to badminton competitions in Seattle, Texas, and California, most notably the USA Badminton Junior Nationals.

Westview High School Key Club 2022-2023 Treasurer and 2023-2024 Senior Representative


  • I was our club's treasurer by designing fundraisers, coordinating spending, and collecting payments, and senior representative by designing projects, appealing to newcomers, and building a strong community. I mainly volunteered for the environment by gardening but I also fought covid-19 by helping make masks and vaccinations, giving me 266.5 hours.



Westview Badminton Club Founder


  • I founded this club because of my interest in badminton, which I wanted to share with others, and I was able to build a badminton community in our school. I was responsible for coordinating spending, organizing meetings, expanding the club, teaching badminton skills, and giving members fun activities to participate in.



Westview NHS Member


  • After demonstrating academic success and leadership, I was offered to join the Westview NHS. I worked in food, blood, and clothing drives that satisfied the needs for these items in my community and tutored students around the school who struggled in classes I had taken such as economics and calculus.



Tutor


  • I had the opportunity to teach English to many younger students in China who intended to move to the United States in the future. I'd help these students understand and properly read passages that we went over and give writing assignments that I would discuss with the students with advice to improve their writing skills.
