  • While employed at RNN, I was the point of contact for Arapahoe County and Denver Housing Authority clients for small to mid range interior architecture/interiors remodels. In addition to working directly with wonderful clients and MEP consultants, my responsibilities included management, design, production and construction administration for their projects. General office responsibilities for this very small office included processing invoices, staff coordination, employee evaluations and interviewing prospective employees.

  • While employed at KPB, a mid size firm with expertise in many typologies, I worked primarily on medical office projects and, as point of contact, got to know the facilities staff at Providence Alaska Medical Center very well. With the support of KPB and our team’s responsiveness and attention to detail, we landed 2 consecutive 5 year term contracts as well as a major capital improvement project. Clients Southcentral Foundation and Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium were also among those I served as interior design co-lead for new construction and renovation on their Anchorage campuses.

Accomplishments

  • As point of contact and project manager, I enjoyed and maintained long term relationships with corporate, public and non- profit clients. Clients have included Providence Alaska Medical Center, Northrim Bank, Wells Fargo, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, JL Properties, Arapahoe County and Denver Housing Authority.
  • CITC Headquarters - Anchorage Alaska: As Senior Interior Architect and project co-lead, completed a full remodel of a 70,000 sf office building in 13 months-from programming through construction administration in response to substantial damage from the 2018 Earthquake.
  • General: Designed, coordinated and supported numerous new and remodel projects in remote Alaska. (Kwethluk, Utqiagvik, Kotzebue) Knowledgeable regarding the logistics and limitations of project delivery for remote, off-road communities.
  • Alaska CARES - Anchorage, Alaska: As Project manager, architect and point of contact, collaborated with 5 local, state and non-profit stakeholders in the site selection, programming,design and construction administration of a new 28,000 sf/ $10,000,000 facility for investigation and treatment of child abuse.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

In my work over the previous 25 years in Denver and Anchorage, I have maintained primary responsibility for the successful delivery of dozens of architecture/interior architecture projects that include healthcare, workspace, financial, and educational typologies. Leading or supporting projects as an integral team member alongside designers of all disciplines has been an enduring source of satisfaction and joy for me.
