  • Tested about 5 PCR parameters for any changes in efficiency as determined by qPCR, and these results were observed and noted in my lab notebook, and then presented in a Blainey lab meeting at the end of the semester.

  • Learned how to plan and design good experiments, how to execute basic molecular biology techniques, how to use my results to inform my future research directions, and how to develop the skills necessary to effectively communicate with others about my research and results.
