Leyna Diehl

I started this business when I won the "Best of WNY" award for my artwork in the Congressional Art Competition, and I had a lot of people asking me to sell my work. Some of my responsibilities are communicating with customers, such as thanking them for their purchase and helping with any issues like shipping. I also do marketing for my business, such as posting on Instagram for new products I release or any current projects I'm working on.

I was commissioned to create and paint a design for a mural that was inspired by the town of South Buffalo and the landmarks that everyone in that area knows.

Every year at the beginning of August, Olmstead Islands Block Club hosts a National Night Out block party. I assist with setting up tables, the basket raffle, and tents. I also help with the activities for kids.

Every May, West Seneca East Senior High brings students together for a day to visit different sites and volunteer for a few hours. I have volunteered at churches and helped clean pews and windows, and vacuum floors. I have also volunteered at a local elementary school and helped with weeding and mulching.

I painted sets and helped with props for the school musical Moana Jr.
