2024-Current - HuskyTHON Rising Leaders

• Involved in HuskyTHON Rising Leaders, which is a club on campus that gives students the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and experience all that goes into HuskyTHON and its year-long initiatives
• HuskyTHON is a charity dance marathon that works in collaboration with Connecituct Children’s, a statewide network of non-profit medical centers focused acute pediatric care for serious child illness, to raise money for the hospital network to provide the best care for its patients and their families
• HuskyTHON involves members of the UConn student body with “miracle children,”patients from the medical center who come to the dance marathon as a celebration of the patients and their families who have been treated by Connecticut Children’s

2024-Current - HuskyTHON Dancer Representative

• In addition to being a member of Rising Leaders, I participated in HuskyTHON as a “dancer representative,” a team captain for my learning community
• In HuskyTHON, students join as members of individual teams who participate in the 18-hour long dance marathon together
• Created the EcoHouse HuskyTHON team and registered 15 members of my learning community
• Attended bi-weekly representative meetings where the internal management of the HuskyTHON student organization prepared us for our role as team leaders
• Raised $1,111.34 as an individual participant and $3,692.34 as a team
