- Perform preliminary testing including FDT, AR, IOP measurement (iCare/tonometer), lensometry, and Clarus retinal imaging.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, review ocular and medical history, document chief complaints, test visual acuities, and prepare charts for the doctor.
- Proficient in Compulink EMR including charting, scribing, updating templates, scanning documents, and secure patient communication.
- Scribe for the doctor during exams and manage patient flow; perform pupil dilation as directed.
- Conduct contact lens fittings, perform over-refractions, and teach insertion/removal techniques to new wearers.

- Maintain encrypted prescription email system; assist front desk with scheduling, phone calls, document scanning, and appointment management.
