I have been a STNA since my junior year of high school. Throughout my time of helping people with there every day activities I have learned some valuable lessons. I have also gained tremendous amounts of hand on experience with working in an hospital by learning how to take fingerstick blood sugar readings, placing telemetry on patients, and taking vital signs. I have also gained experience in teamwork, problem solving and time management.
Assists with delivering patient care by obtaining patient vital signs, assisting with feeding, toileting, hygiene care, fingerstick blood sugar readings, maintaining skin integrity and ambulating and transferring patients.
I have my certification in BSL CPR and my STNA licenses
